here are 5 creative careers that are projected to have the most opportunities in the next
decade! Architectural and civil drafters turn architects’
designs into detailed drawings. These drawings may be used in construction
projects like that of a building, bridge, or a highway You usually need at least an associate’s
degree or 2-year certificate to get started in a drafting career. BLS projects 9,500 opportunities for new architectural
and civil drafters each year over the next decade. Writers and authors compose content for various
types of media, including blogs, movies or plays, and books. You’ll most likely need a bachelor’s degree
to enter the occupation—and a year or more of full-time writing to hone your skill. BLS projects 12,600 opportunities for new
writers and authors each year over the next decade. Musicians and singers play instruments or
sing, either for live audiences or in recording studios—or both. You won’t need a formal educational credential. But you will need to work at it for longer
than a year to become proficient BLS projects 17,800 opportunities for new
musicians and singers each year over the next decade. Graphic designers combine elements such as
colors, shapes, and images to visually inform or deliver a message. You’ll need at least a bachelor’s degree,
with classes that use computer graphics and design software, to land an entry-level job

new graphic designers each year over the next decade. Hairdressers, hairstylists, and cosmetologists
use scissors, hair products, and makeup to transform the looks of their clients. Every state requires that you complete a nondegree
award program and get a license first. You can enroll in one after high school. BLS projects 84,700 opportunities for new
