Cut vegetables in 5 seconds – Creative Quick Chop
Hi guys! I am doing a review today on the
Creative Quick Chop basically quick job. It’s a product by Creative. According to the
picture on the side, which I have never used this product, you basically put the
vegetables in, pull a cord and it chops them all for you.
Sounds crazy! It shows a picture of how amazing it looks afterwards and, of
course, I’d like to do that. So I’ve got the onion. I’ve got a board. I’ll show you in
a moment and, yeah, this is the very first time I’ve used the product. It’s still got the sellotape on it. I got given it by my fiancee as an anniversary present and, yeah, she
wants me to experiment more in the kitchen. I do a lot of cooking, so here it
is. There it is. No instructions doesn’t bode well. So let’s see how it goes. Right! So okay. All right. So there is a funny
little spatula. I’m assuming this is for mixing up like flour and cake mixtures
and things like that. It’s very small bowl. So you couldn’t really do much with
it. There’s no instructions. Maybe it’s for
yogurt! Granola and yogurt, maybe. Let’s call it
that for now. I’m going to take that out, put that to one side and, yeah, here we go.
I got this all set up for us. I’m going to first chop up the onion. Okay, I chose a knife which was not good. The one
knife I pick is the one that has no grip on it. It must be an old knife, okay. This has
absolutely no ability to cut anything. Right! Right! It’s good though because it will put
the thing through its paces. Right, there we go. I’m just taking off as much as I
possibly can of the outer layers so that when I put it through the machine,
hopefully it will slice it into lots and lots of pieces. Let’s see how that goes.
It’s still going okay. Okay. Good. Excellent. Oh I just want to get rid of this
piece of junk. Okay. This bit of mess up here. Let’s cut that out. There we go.
Right. So as far as I can tell, take the outer layer off so you get it completely
clean onion. That is a good onion. This is the machine. I don’t want to do. What’s it say? Let me read the instructions on the side. Hold on. Here we go. So twist at the and click the lid into
position then pull the cord for some great results. Okay. All right. Okay. First of all. First thing I notice is my onion does not fit inside the bowl without
cutting it down to start with which doesn’t bode well. Let’s do that anyway.
So we’re gonna cut it down a little bit. Okay now it seems to fit. There we go.
Yeah, fit. Yeah that just about fits. There we go. Right,
bring that down again. Here we go, for example. Right, so according to this we
place this on so it fits. There. Now is the magic. It’s not spinning. Okay. Now I’m baffled. Oh I
see. Okay fair enough. It’s kind of just moved across a little bit. I get this. Like, so,
yeah, okay, there we go. You know I’m actually impressed, yeah. Okay, well it’s not completely chopped. So, yeah, look at that success. So marks out of ten? I’d say ten out of ten. As far as kitchen utensils go? This is the way forward.
None of that useless chopping. You’ve seen my videos. You’ve seen how terrible
I am at chopping vegetables. This sorts it all out for me. Success! Great! I’ll be

idea what this is for. Oh hold on. No? Ha! There we go. It kind of makes sense now.
I’ve worked it out. Right so once you finish doing your chops. I’ll take that off
and wash that there. I’m guessing… yeah, there you go.
Straight in the fridge. That’s not bad. Okay, okay, so this requires a bit of
washing but because there’s no metal parts, it’s pretty easy. I mean, yeah, yeah
seems like it, seems good. We’ll see how it works in progress but what I am a bit worried about is that this little bit in here you can’t
clean. You can’t take it apart which means if you get mayonnaise in here,
you’re stuffed, so maybe yogurt wasn’t such a good idea.
I don’t know. I’ll have to do some experiments with that. Anyhow, thanks for
